Parker: OMG! OMG! OMG!

Erika: I know I will never feel this way about anyone else, ever, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you be my Mr. Simcott?

Parker: So shiney! So sparkly! My... Precioussss...

Yep, Erika proposed, and so they're engaged to be married! It'll probably be a while before the wedding though, they haven't resolved the issue of moving in together yet.

- Hey honey, come on over, I'm having a party tonight!

Some crazy old lady is dancing with Cycl0n3 Sw0rd, one of Erika's oldest friends. Shake that booty, sister!

Parker: I had a great time tonight, babe. You really know how to throw a party! You know, there's something I've been meaning to talk to you about... We've been seeing each other for a long time now, and I've never felt this way about a girl before. I think it's time for the next step, and I have a feeling you want the same thing. How about moving in together? 

Erika: You're right honey, I do feel the same, but... I'm not sure I'm ready to move in with you just yet, I...

Parker: Well, actually, I was thinking I could move in here! I like your place better than mine anyway.

Erika: Oh. Really? You like this shotgun style house? I can't wait to find something better. I've been looking at some available houses and there's a couple of nice ones on Redwood, and down by the beach on Sun Song Ave there's this bungalow... Well, anyway, I think I just need some more time, that's all. There's no rush, right honey?

Parker: Whatever you say babe... You're the boss.

How is Erika going to solve this problem? If she moves in with Parker, she won't be able to write her novels anymore unless she tells him her secret. On the other hand, if she keeps insisting to wait, he might start to think there is something wrong. Stay tuned...



How to become the mayor of Sunset Valley

Wondering how Erika came to be the mayor of Sunset Valley? Well, she started out in the political career track as a podium polisher, just so she could pay the bills while secretly focusing on her career as a novelist. But she quickly discovered that with the right friends, she could make more of herself.
Her best friend is Tori Kimura, who also works at City Hall.

One evening, Erika invited Tori over to hang out. The option to "Ask for promotion" came up, and Erika was swiftly promoted to mayor. That's how it's done, folks!

Meet Erika Simcott, mayor of Sunset Valley...

... and secret author of trashy novels such as Adriana's Many Lovers, Silk Teddies & High Heels and So Wrong it Feels Right. The original Erika Simcott was created by Erika of The Splines, but in my game, she is a different sim! Her lifetime wish is the same though, to become a professional author. With five bestsellers already written and many more on the way, Erika is well on her way to achieving her goal.

Originally a fat sim, Erika spends many mornings at the 28-hour gym to keep fit. Her boyfriend, Parker Langerak, keeps her company. Yep, they're that annoyingly energetic couple!

Although Erika actually surpasses Parker on the treadmill ;-)

However, Parker doesn't know about Erika's secret life as a trash novelist, and she is ambivalent towards telling him. Parker, being a flirt and a schmoozer, probably wouldn't care about the quality of her work as a writer, but some of the stuff she has written is pretty racy and well, Erika is just not that kind of girl! At least, she pretends not to be...
